Dedicated to making a difference.

Social entrepreneurs are natural born innovators who work to solve challenging issues. As pioneers, they tend to shape their roles as they go—creating new solutions to old problems, new rules, and sometimes entirely new disciplines. The job of a social entrepreneur is to recognize when a part of society is stuck and to provide new ways to get unstuck. The Social Entrepreneur finds what is not working and solves the problem by changing the system, spreading the solution and persuading entire societies to take new leaps.

What is social enterprise?

Social enterprise, also known as social entrepreneurship, broadly encompasses ventures of nonprofits, civic-minded individuals, and for-profit businesses that can yield both financial and social returns.

Our Priorities

Borrowed from the venture capital industry, we will find, fund and support exceptional leaders with innovative and highly impactful ideas that have the potential to scale. We provide unrestricted capital, and, most importantly, we provide rigorous, ongoing support by joining the board of directors and partnering with the leader to help build capacity in the organization and scale their impact.

Addressing Critical Needs: Nonprofits often focus on addressing critical needs within communities, such as poverty alleviation, hunger relief, homelessness assistance, healthcare access, education, disaster relief, and support for vulnerable populations (e.g., children, elderly, individuals with disabilities, refugees, and immigrants).

As an organization we help build social capital, networks, collaborations, partnerships, and coalitions within communities.

We work to facilitate connections, collaboration, knowledge sharing, resource mobilization, collective action, and community resilience, enabling communities to address challenges, leverage strengths, and achieve shared goals.

Bridging the knowledge gap

IDREAM Initiative’s programs are interactive, approachable, and confidence-building. Our unique approach is the result of a decade spent empowering thousands of underrepresented entrepreneurs alongside knowledgeable and respected community leaders.

No matter where you are in your entrepreneurial journey (even idea-stage), we can help you build your business, find community, and make the change you want to see.

We seek to contribute to economic development, job creation, entrepreneurship, and workforce development within communities. We support small businesses, startups, entrepreneurs, workforce training programs, employment initiatives, and economic revitalization efforts, stimulating local economies, reducing unemployment, and fostering sustainable growth.
